KAI & KŌRERO
Bring your team together for some kai & kōrero. Enjoy the relaxed surrounds of our headquarters with an intro to Te Reo Māori session followed by a delicious meal of shared plates with a range of our Modern Māori Fusion dishes.
The kōrero would include a 1 hour introductory lesson - including:
Te Ao Māori
The kai would be a shared plate style. Serving platters to your table covering a range of our most popular dishes so you can experience a range of flavours. This would include light/starter type items, heavier/main type items and dessert.
We will share with you the stories behind the food and dishes as they are served.
Kai & kōreo is $65pp* We are fully licensed so beverages would be available - a selection of wine, beer and non alcoholic and can be charged on consumption.
It’s perfect for teams looking for a unique activity and can be over dinner or lunch. Kai & kōrero is best suited to a group maximum of 20.

TE REO SESSIONS
We'll be taking a break for Te Reo Sessions in term four as it is such a busy time of year for everyone but we will run sessions again in term one 2020.

Learn Te Reo Māori in a casual, relaxed format. Suitable for absolute beginners but also those with a small amount of Te Reo.
The course runs for 8 weeks every Tuesday, 6pm-8pm, at Pūha & Pākehā, 108 Surrey Crescent, Grey Lynn
The Te Reo sessions will help you:
Learn helpful everyday phrases and pronounce words and place names correctly
Learn how to introduce yourself with a pepeha
Learn to greet/thank people using a mihi in writing and in person
Gain insights into some of the tikanga of Māori culture including what happens during a powhiri/mihi whakatau
$25 per person per session - includes a meal of our Modern Māori Fusion kai for dinner.
A deposit of $100 is required to secure your place on the course with the balance of $100 due at the first session. Please note this is non refundable but it is transferrable.
